Yeha Hotel is one of the business units that is managed and controlled by BT Digital Business Bridge PLC. It was established in 1993 G.C at Tigray Regional State, Axum town, North of Ethiopia 1024Km from Addis Ababa. The Hotel is a three star hotel located in the outskirts of the city of Axum, on the historic route to the sites to be visited in the city.

The long-term goal of Yeha Hotel is by creating a differentiated experience capitalizing on personal service, initiated by the historical nature of the Axum town, and its unique location in one of the most attractive parts of Tigray Regional State plan to be more than a great Hotel, restaurant, and bar.

We plan to create an environment of pampered luxury that surpasses the standard fare for International Tourists and Ethiopians exercising pilgrimage to this Historic city of Axum, Ethiopia.

Expanding our exposure via Advertisements’ and introducing versatile parts of the city to people that have not yet visited Axum will allow us to maintain a higher than average occupancy rate and above average profits.

To secure and develop our business, we shall maintain strategic alliance with tour & travel organizations as well as reliable institutions which can provide us financial support and technical advises.

The objective of the Yeha Hotel–Axum for the first five years of operation includes:

  • Reengineer the existing hotel without altering the cultural and ethical values the hotel acquires.

  • Exceeding the customer’s expectations for tour of the historic city and vacation.

  • Maintaining at least 50% occupancy rate.

  • To increase the number of clients by 10% each year.

  • Increase exposure and market using Internet technology and direct advertising.

  • Through incentives and increased exposure on the Internet, we hope to increase off-season occupancy by 30% the first year.

  • Increase off-season use by expanding into other uses for property (cater parties, receptions, weddings, etc.).
